Sons Of The Prophet A Pulitzer Prize Finalist

In March of 2011 I received a call from the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston asking me if I would be willing to a record a track to be featured (in fact the only song featured) in a play by a young playwright named Stephen Karam. I read part of the script and agreed to do it. When the play moved to New York’s Roundabout Theatre, I went to opening night (and a GREAT after party!). The show was incredibly funny and moving and went on to receive unanimous rave reviews in the New York Times and everywhere else.

I found at last week that it was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Completely incredible. Never thought I’d get some Pulitzer bragging on my resume.
Very happy for Stephen and very honoured to have been a part of the show.

How cool is that?!
