So, a small group of us got together here in NYC and hopped a cab over to The Buddy Project in Astoria to record a one-off track of the classic pioneer hymn All Is Well. Nate Olson is a two-time Utah fiddle champion, D Fletcher is the organist in our church (he’s in fact a bit of a legend here), and Trevor Reed, who is getting a PhD in ethnomusicology at Teachers College, played bass.

Nice, laid back recording session. So lucky to have these guys as my neighbors.

Recorded by Kieran Kelly at The Buddy Project, NYC. Grammy winner Chris Testa, who produced the last Jimmy Eat World record and engineered for the Dixie Chicks, mixed this track here. Mastered at Sterling Sound by Steve Fallon.

P.S. It is available on Itunes, if you must.

This is the most beautiful rendition I’ve heard.  Thanks for putting it together, and sharing your obvious talent.  I love it!
